Hearing Voices Network peer support and connection group

Hearing Voices Network group flyer - 2023 version 5.pdf

Hearing voices? Seeing visions? Feeling sensations? Other unusual or extreme experiences?  You are not alone! Although 1 in 10 people hear voices, many choose not to talk about them for fear of judgement, hospitalization, stigma, and more.

Hearing Voices Network groups are a place where people can meet to talk about our experiences without fear of judgment. We offer mutual support and friendship, and the opportunity to explore our experiences and learn from others with similar stories.  Rather than assuming illness, we ask ourselves and each other:  "What does that experience mean to you?"

Free and open to all who have these experiences.

No preregistration required. Come as you are.

Currently participation is limited to adults (18+) only.

Important note:  this peer space is only for those who have these experiences ourselves. If you are a family member, friend, or other supporter, a provider, or a curious member of the community, please contact Jamie at jamie@fusioncollaborative.org for more information. We appreciate you respecting this boundary, which is in place to help us cultivate safety and mutuality in our peer space.

Accessibility note:

This group is currently held in person through the kind support of WordHaven BookShop in their writer's studio, which is on the 2nd floor of a building with no elevator.  We do acknowledge this presents an accessibility challenge. We are committed to working together for accessibility for all to our meetings. Please contact jamie@fusioncollaborative.org or 262-346-4208 for any accessibility needs related to our Hearing Voices Network group.
